I can already tell I'm going to be sick and tired of hearing of these guys after the glowing review on Pitchfork today, but the one track I've heard from them before was actually really good. I can't remember the title of it, but it sounded like what would happen if you threw Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, and Stereolab (or Neu, if you prefer) in a blender.

Anyone have any information on their newest album, or know where I can order it?

why would a Pitchfork review make you think you'll be sick of an artist after a while? and if you think you'll be sick of it, why would you want to order it?

i'm feelin' this album. dunno where to order it though.

I'm downloading a track, Selina's Melodie Fountain, but since I'm not a big fan of shoegaze stuff I'm not expecting much.

Notice I said sick and tired of hearing OF these guys. Maybe I should have said "hearing about these guys" instead, but I still think it made sense. And don't tell me you don't know what I mean...think of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah or Arcade Fire. Whether you like them or not (I like most Arcade Fire songs) the "hype machine," as some people call it, can get tiresome.

Thank you for that link, I wasn't aware that they had posted that (I actually wasn't even aware Pitchfork posted mp3s until right now). I'll see if this is the track I've heard before.

Just found out the name of the track I've heard before -- Selina's Melodie Fountain -- you can hear it here: http://www.honeymilk.no/serena_index.html

I also listened to that song on Pitchfork, and it's great. Definitely more My Bloody Valentine (whereas the song I just posted is more on the Stereolab/Sonic Youth side), but I'm definitely going to have to find a copy of this album. Soon. I don't normally order things online but this will definitely be an exception.

I like this track much better than the one posted on Pitchfork. That one is a little too direct of an MBV ripoff. This one, however, has me interested.

I swear I've sent one to everyone here who asked... but half of the PMs are stalling out in my outbox. They'll arrive, just might take time.

What hype machone exactly are we talking about? Some message boards and a few websites? I honestly don't know how overwhelming discussion of those two bands can be. Choosing whether or not to acknowledge hype is a personal decision and I really can't imagine that Arcade Fire, CYHSY (they don't even have a record deal at the moment), or Serena Maneesh who are available only through a Norwegian distributor are invading any of our lives involuntarily.

This is good.

Great track sequencing. I really like how it progresses and gets darker and more intense/less typical shoegaze.
