Is there a way to erase select items where you type in information, such as incorrectly typed zip codes, user id's ....

When I log into my email, there is:

ti
timmyhoe42
timmyoe42

but no timmyjoe42...
I want to delete the incorrect ones. Do I need to delete all the cookies and such?
