it's a shame that the title immediately makes me think of the commercial for that awful movie that's out right now.

When was this written? Heh, it's a bit of a precognition. They go to a movie and they think it is "A bit cliched and hackneyed." And on top of that, the song and current movie have the same title. Funny stuff.

When he was in college, correct? While I haven't heard this yet, I'm surprised he allowed this to be released. I know many a musicians who are more mature in their music and wouldn't let their college bands be heard for anything.
