I saw the video for it a few nights ago and it was an awesome disco-induced hallucination.

Someone hook me up with this, you know I'm good for it.

The song is called, "Don't Feel Like Dancing". New album Tah Dah is out in stores on 09/26.

Oh man.... I'm SO going to learn those moves and dazzle my friends at the next dance outing.

(now I've got the song in my head and I'm sort of Jake dancing in my chair)

You must be joking. Who the hell is going to play it out later this month? It's not from 1986. hehe...

I'm going to turn my bedroom into a dance studio tonight and learn his moves. I wonder if I can find a purple leisure suit. I'm thinking Halloween.

(fourth listen)

Okay, I'm done listening to it. Coworker number one doesn't like it. WTF?

Moving on to Shout Out Louds.

You should ask your co-worker number one if he/she ever liked Elton John or the Bee Gees... if he/she replies to the affirmative, you need to hit them hard.

Hell, as long as we're talking retro gay dance music, here's another one that I've been listening to a lot lately.... I've seen the video for this one a lot too... singer has AMAZING hair (rowr).

This plays on CinemaSounds at least twice an hour, and while I disliked it quite a bit, at first -- calling your album Ta-da! is a bit over-the-top (and/or a Dave Attell reference); either way... -- but after the tenth time hearing it, I realized that is just a gay'd-up Midnite Vultures tune. Which makes it, quite simply, awesome sauce.

Yeah, I've got a 46-year old co-worker who mocks the songs's gayness quotient when he's been listening to identical-sounding Elton John, Bee Gees and ABBA songs for decades. I guess the Erasure quotient somehow factors in here, where they JUST LOOK FAG. Cuz we all know how butch old Dwight used to look.
