If so, I completely agree. It's a total shame how BDB has gone...Bewilderbeast was just about as perfect a record as I've heard (if a bit long) and About A Boy had it's charms, but Fish? was just too ridiculously uneven. I'm not even sure if there's a great song on that album and the weak ones make it so much harder to like what is good on it.

He went away from the simpler mixes and arrangements from his early career and just loaded on too much studio glitz and as he went on. He had a really organic sound that just doesn't exist in his style anymore.
