Has anyone seen this show yet? Im wondering if Portastatic is just Mac or if its the full band. Also, Ive never seen Ward so Im looking forward to that...digging the new disc more than TR

I imagine it will be Jim from Superchunk playing bass instead of guitar plus some drummer dude(ette) plus perhaps another guitarist.

saw m. last wednesday. super weird on a large stage, med-large venue setting. the new portastatic is ridunkulous. i wish he/they played instead of stinky oakley hall, who were terrible. that is all.

i'd like to qualify this. it was weird that m was playing at webster hall, but the show was by no means weird--he played with a full band, and his songs sounded better than I've ever heard them live. He also played 3 encores. great show.
