I might join you for a week or two if Nebraska gets pummeled tonight.

I sucked back when I did that, too. But at least I wasn't overtouted and overrated before shitting the bed and embarassing a legion of alumni and other fans, like Gay-dy Quinn.

I feel your pain, Bobby. We lose on an interference call that was waved off. WTF. Then the game ends on the 3 yrd line because JaMarcus won't throw it into the end zone. Fack the refs.

I know, that was a seriously ugly injury. I'm surprised it was only a dislocated ankle. It seemed like he busted it right at the joint. I'm still a sports fan at the half. Nebraska's offense is struggling, while the defense and special teams are hanging in there against a better team. I really wish Nebraska could force a turnover or a sack on a third down, because most of the USC penalties have eliminated a Nebraska sack or turnover opportunity.
If USC scores a touchdown on their opening possession of the 2nd half, I'll be back here taking shit, but not really watching after that point.

All right, I'm probably not going to comment on NFL tomorrow and take a few days off with Nebraska losing by 18 right now. The Husker defense played wonderful on the opening drive, except for not picking off two bad passes and returning them for TD. It's the offense that has been disappointing lately, especially the fumble.

Nebraska just opened up the passing attack a little late, but have a first and goal after a huge catch by a TE from my neck of the woods.
If Nebraska scores, they most likely prevent USC from covering the spread in this game.
Then I am feeling pretty happy.

So I am still a sports fan after Nebraska did all it could to keep USC from covering the spread. USC could have easily scored a last minute td, but that would have been utterly classless.
I am actually a little worried about playing Troy next week at home. They have played Florida State and Georgia Tech tough, but then it is hard to tell how good those teams are.
If Nebraska comes out and thumps them once again, then the Huskers should probably be a 15-18 ranked team. They are about right where they should be ranked right now, and probably shouldn't drop much.

Good ass SEC Football, though. Its really funny, because I can watch a game like that and just appreciate the beauty of the sport...how hard these kids practice, play and hit, etc...And then when it the Dawgs I am liked an uncaged animai, down on all fours barking at the TV.

Notre Dame = Stomped by Michigan

Angels = 99.99% eliminated

49ers = uhm yeah

LA Kings = 49ers without the history

UCLA football = worst 2-0 team I've ever seen

Boston Bruins = Alexi Zhamnov is making how much for how much longer?

Too bad the second wave of Katrina is rolling into the Raper Dome next week to once again crush the fragile spirit of Louisiana.

They totally destroyed Utah, a top twenty five (pre-season) team and they beat a very weak Rice team. Given the Rice game, they weren't very impressive, but they looked like a top twenty team driving against Utah. So, if this is the worst team you've "seen" (you actually saw the Rice game? where?)... then you've pretty limited exposure to college football.

Notre Dame really sucked. I hate Quinn. I hate the Irish...

Nebraska looked weak. I hate USC... why didn't you beat them? Aarrrgh.

2-0 start :cheers:

If only they played clevland and green bay every week.

In college, the hawks looked lackluster in handling ISU. The secondary was painfully bad, and considering we were just giving them >5yd passes you would think the run D would have been better. If things don't improve dramaticly and real fast we're gonna get pummled by tOSU (read: we're gonna get pummled by tOSU). It would also help if Young would rush for more than 57 yards.

Rice game was on TV here in LA & UCLA did not look good at all & the Rose Bowl looked empty. Utah was in the top 25? I was totally unaware of that. They must've been ranked right next to Penn St. It's not the worst 2-0 team I've seen, I'm just saying after that Rice game I'm not that impressed with UCLA's chances of winning the Pac or beating USC.
