From the singles/B-sides collection titled: The Wilderness Years

Very different from the version that appeared on Seconds Of Pleasure

Nothing can top the Rockpile version.

To think that the man responsible for the crazed, mega-propulsive drumming on that version later ended up drumming for Dire Straits. Whatever happened to Terry Williams anyway?

Totally agreed on the Rockpile comment. But I thought it would be nice for you Lowe fans to hear.

And what's wrong with Dire Straits?

Nothing, nothing, nothing! One of my favorite bands EVER.

It was more a lament about taking such a loose, swinging, alive drummer like Terry Williams, handing him a pair of brushes, and making him plod through the On Every Street snoozefest. Other than the utterly great "Twisting By the Pool," Williams didn't belong in that group.

(Note: Was a Dire Straits fan prior to that; Brothers in Arms was where they started to lose me.)
