How is Pat? He's from my area of the country. I think he was going to come back and play the Mercy Rule reunion gig, but I am not sure if he did. The last time I remember seeing him was with No Things this winter before they broke up.

i met anna at sxsw at the no things show and she was pretty nice. she's roommates with anthony from tunnel of love, though there's maybe 2 people here that would care.

are you thinking of pat or ron? ron was the drummer in mercy rule [and then liars + no things]
pat was the bassist in opium taylor
i played in a band with the singer of opium taylor after he & his bro moved out to ny
i replaced the drummer, matt, who left to play with bright eyes & then started head of femur with a couple of other lincoln folks [ben from the black dahlias & i think rich from opium taylor] when they moved to chicago

somehow i imagine we may have crossed paths if you were in lincoln in summer of 01 and the winter/spring of 02

I was pretty sure they were both coming back, since it was sort of Jon and Heidi's from Mercy Rule's anniversary. They now have some band called Domestica.
It's crazy you know that much about the old Lincoln scene, I don't usually even try to talk about it outside of local boards.
Did the guys who move to NY start The Holy Ghost? I believe those guys were in one of the old bands.
I only know Pat because he grew up in Hartington, so once he started doing shows with the Lincoln bands, they would play 5 for 5 all ages shows in my hometown.

No, I grew up in Norfolk, the big town in that region of the state.
Ron didn't play the anniversary show, my mistake, Jon and Heidi are playing with Boz from Polecat. Head of Femur was also on the bill for that show.

No, The Cog Factory has long been dead. Most of the shows in Omaha are at Sokol Auditorium, the big indie shows are in the main auditorium, the small ones are in the basement.
I nearly became the booking guy at Duffy's this summer. I have never been to a show at the Junction.
