I'm trying to decide if I care. I really liked Appetite for Destruction, and I got a kick outta couple of their acoustic numbers and a couple of the covers on Spaghetti Incident, which I have only heard played through some shitty jukebox at the sadly departed Rotten Ron's, my favorite old biker bar, which seems to be pretty fitting. But, by the time they got to the Use You Illusion crap I thoguht they were past it and the idea that whatever monstrosity Axl puts together is even up to that standard is doubtful.

Didn't The Spaghetti Incident come after The Use Your Illusions?

I don't see how this will be as good as previous GNR albums because it's only the singer. He might as well be fronting a new band like Audioslave.

Maybe it is Audioslave Timmy. Ever think of that?

Is Tommy Stinson still on board with this?

That Guns N' Roses Greatest Hits that came out more than 2 years ago has not left the Billboard 200 since it came out. In fact, it's at #74 right now. Crazy.

One of the few bands that i can't stand in the slightest. This will undoubtedly be the worst album of the year.

honestly, and i mean this with the utmost sincerity so i apologize to the folks that really want to hear it, but i thought everyone had stopped caring about this along time ago.

Even the most bloated excesses of Use Your Illusion are still pretty good IMHO. Some shit like 'Civil War' will still make me drive too fast.

The best thing about this album finally be released (if indeed it is) is that its 2006 and not 1996 which means that I wont have to pay to hear it before I decide whether its worth the cash. And even then...well let's just say they'll never recoup on this album if it sells 27 million copies so what difference is my 14.99 gonna make.

Would hear out of vague interest. No intention of buying.

This is finally getting released so that Zack de la Rocha & his first (only?) post-RATM solo album can become the new Chinese Democracy.

All this talk of Axl spending ten years, plus, on this record... Yet, Rage broke up six years ago, & while Zack has been promising a solo, more-rap-than-metal-or-punk, joint for years, nothing has come of it. I mean, at least Axl got a song or two on the End of Days soundtrack (that was released in late '99, only three years and change after CD was begun in the studio).

Really, now.
