I'll go with:
Cards
Mets
A's
Tigers

Mets vs A's in the Series, Mets in 6

Although I think the Yankees will probably win in 5 and realize the Padres and Twins are heavy favorites in my mind.

How can the Padres make the series after losing to the Dodgers?

I believe the Worlds Series will come down to the Twins or the Yankees. I don't see how any NL team could win it this year.

My dad also grew up rooting for the bums, but never forgave them for moving and refuses to go to Chavez Ravine despite having many chances. He later became a bit of a Mets fan before moving to Maryland in the '70s (and at the time it was a lot easier to be an O's fan).

Baseball... it gets us talking about Dads and our childhood.

My Dad never forgave the Dodgers (the O'Malley's) for moving 100's of Latino families out of Chavez Ravine and bulldozing their neighborhood (c.f. Ry Cooder Chavez Ravine). Dad always pulled for the native LA team... the Angels.

I saw the Dodgers play their first year in LA at the Coliseum. I bleed Dodger blue. Here's $50 that says they go all the way

I hope the Dodgers get beat so I don't have to keep answering stupid questions from bandwagon fans. Even those years I wasn't a baseball fan I knew how many divisions there were.

Twins over A's in 5

Padres over Cards in 5

Yankees over Tigers in 4 ( maybe even 3...this is the best chance for a sweep, IMO )

Dodgers over Mets in 4

i was really surprised with the way the Phillies ended so strong and took the wild card. That last game was a nail biter, but they pulled it out and now we're in the playoffs for the first time since '93!!!

My guess is they'll need all the games but beat the Padres, and then take the Mets in 5 and then lose to the Yankee's in 6.

go phillies!!!!

I'm a Cards fan, and even I'd be overjoyed if Leyland and the Tigers won the title after collapsing during the 2nd half of the season.
