New York, NY (AHN) - Kenny Rogers had trouble containing his temper last season, and it got him into trouble. The Gambler was suspended when he man-handled a camera man that was trying to photograph the pitcher before a game last season. Rogers was suspended for his actions in that instance. Last weekend, Rogers' temper appears to have gotten the best of him again as he, reportedly, accosted a fan.
Detroit police are looking into a complaint filed by a fan that said Rogers grabbed him by the collar in a parking structure near Comerica Park. According to the police report, the 37-year-old man came up to the 41-year-old Rogers near the players' parking area and requested an autograph just after midnight on Sunday. Rogers refused.
When Rogers refused the man became upset and started banging on Rogers car and cursing the left-handed pitcher. Rogers then exited the car to confront the fan.
