10 The Bangles, "September Gurls"
I'll still take Alex Chilton, thank you
11 Ministry, "Every Day Is Halloween"
12 Dave Brubeck, "Autumn In Washington Square"
13 The Waitresses, "Christmas Wrapping"
14 The Dismemeberment Plan, "The Ice of Boston"
15 The Zombies, "This Will Be Our Year"
I like that it should be an interesting project to see how it develops over the course of the year. I also like that it is only 15 tracks. Too many tracks can be a bit overwhelming, but keeping it somewhat short is nice.
I'm not sure that it won't get knocked off course by an attempt to be all things to all people, though. Variety is great, mixing genres is great, but I'm wary that in order to keep people interested, the staff will use a cafeteria selection process to reach a broader audience. I would probably prefer that each mix tend to have an underlying aural/genre theme in addition to the overall idea that is being conveyed. Should be interesting to see what pops up..
