A woman I work with has a nephew in a band called:
Avenue Of the Strongest.

I think they're from DC, maybe?

Anyway, it's decent, moody Indie Rock.
I think they're from Portland. OR.

Anyone know anything about them?
Thanks.

This has been a typically vague PopTodd thread.

I think it would have to be hard to have a long-distance band.

Oops.
Forgot to edit entirely.
Portland, OR.
Yes.

I can imagine this woman, Todd.

"Hey, Todd, you like music, right. Well, this CD has music on it."

And you are probably the "music guy" just like your office probably has a "runner guy" and a "fat guy."

LOL
I am "The Music Guy".

But this woman is actually a bit of a music freak, herself. A bit older (early-50's), but still knows quite a bit. I think that, among her friends, she is "The Music Gal".

She is the one that turned me on to Tonio K. And, generally, has pretty good tastes, including a number of obscurities.
She just knew that I am open-minded and thought that I might like her nephew's band.

They aren't bad.

Dude, come on. Elvis Fu can only put down the calzone so many times in a day... You're starving the bastard by continually insulting his time-management, thus provoking him to retaliate.

Fu needs food, man. He can't get (enough) sustenance from invective. (Though if he could, he would.)
