Yes it is. You may have been the one who suggested it, or had it in a NP thread, dunno. In any event, I really dig it.

Nice on the Explosions records. I really love them. Is there anything new on the FNL sndtrk or is it just album tracks? I seem to remember hearing nothing was new on it. Also, I've never heard of The Rescue. Whats the story on that?

Cool, I'm glad you like the Fennesz thing. I generally just listen to it when I'm reading or going to sleep, but it's really nice.

I'm just listening to the FNL sdtk for the first time now, and I believe the bulk of it is stuff they did just for the movie. There are also some reworkings or older stuff, or at least of "Your Hand in Mine" off of TEINaCDP.

The Rescue is their entry into the Travels in Constants series, and I haven't listened to it more than a couple of times. I was kind of disappointed in it, though. Seemed like they'd caught a bad case of The Mogwai - unnecessarily fleshing out their songs with other instuments and making them more syrupy, less dramatic, and kind of sterile. I'll see what I think about it with this listen.

Sweet. Due to the recent tv show of FNL, the sndtrk, DVD etc have been sold out almost everywhere. I really should pick up the sndtrk if its new and reworked stuff.

Will check out The Rescue. Don't think its on emusic though.

Fennesz was nice for the walk to work this morning.

I don't really know if it's worth buying, though. It's OK, but I think they've got a new album coming out soon which will hopefully be much better.

This is hilarious,.

An' once you got a aircraft carrier, you really somebody. You got status. People gittin' off de pavement when you walkin' by, people gittin' up fo' you on de tram, you ain't walkin' naked into de conference chambers o' de world, people sayin' "See dat gennelman wid de black eyepatch an' de wooden leg under his arm an' de Bumper Boy's Telescope wot foldin' out in four sections an' de new frog flippers, dat Ammiral o' De Fleet Idi Amin Ph.D., Esq., an' soon as he finish negotiatin' dis new loan, he goin' out after de well-known Moby Dennis again."
