I can't stand people who voice their hatred of Mondays. Isn't it just assumed that no one likes to go to work after having one or two days off? Must you mention it every.single.monday?!

I did a little dance in my aisle earlier and said good morning to someone while doing it. Her response? A scowl and "How can you be so cheerful on a Monday? God." and pushed past me. It's too early to be so cranky.

seriously, this girl is one of the most annoying people i have ever met in my life. she set up a chair for 'visitors', and every other fucking minute here it's a god damned coffee clotch with some other jackass, talking about stupid shit 5 feet from me while i'm trying to review contracts.
and she bitched endlessly when she was moved over here b/c it's out of the way [good fr us legal folks, bad for the social butterflies, BOO FUCKING HOO].
i'd like to push her ass out the window.

i actually like mondays, it's a nice pace of sobriety. It's tuesdays that piss me off. Still that girl should be dragged out back and shot. maybe if you put a flaming effigy in her visitor's chair she'd get the hint.

I used to work for this place where we had to write down on a board who called in sick and the board was next to the director's desk and *every* Monday he would say, "ok, who has got a case of Monday-itis". As such, even if I were sick on a Monday I made sure to go in.

In high school, I think I missed almost every Monday of my junior and senior year -- one time, when I actually went to school on a Monday some friends had made a tin-foil award for Monday attendance for which they gave me (yeah, geeks).

Don't forget the trick candle.

I was actually really excited when I first got to work and realized I am working Roller Derby practices the next two evenings instead of babysitting part-time workers, but then the day progressively went down the crapper. I should have never got my expectations up.

Monday's are shite, too frigging hungover.

I like Mondays too, for me the week gets worse the more of it there is.

Fridays are by far the worst because I'm fucking drained of all life by then...at least on mondays I usually still have fond memories of the weekend in me...by friday they've been replaced by the daily dread of sitting in a cubicle having flourescent lighting suck out your soul.

Thursdays are worst...that sweet taste of the weekend teasing your lips.

tuesdays are the worst because i have the most meetings and a night with 2 long, boring classes.

Jackasses like those are why I put these on

I can't wear headphones while I am walking around due to OSHA rules due to the forklift. When I am in my office like now, I can crank the music. My day is on the upturn and I have the apartment to myself tonight, so all is well..

Can deaf people where the headphones while driving a forklift, or are they not allowed to drive at all?

I'm not sure if they can where headphones.

I believe the Americans with Disabilities Act legally allows them to do everything.

Mondays are usually the worst for me because I don't get nearly enough sleep on sunday night and then when I get to work there's a lot of mail because no one works on sunday.
