My vote:
Guided By Voices - Alien Lanes

Nothing else even comes close for me.
Once I start it, I CANNOT STOP until the whole thing is over.

2nd place: Pet Sounds (my favorite album of all-time)

Another brilliant choice, as is Abbey Road.
But both of those were conceived of and recorded as whole pieces, not a collection of individual songs, which makes the GBV album all the more impressive to me how it hangs together.

Scott Tuma - The River 1 2 3 4

I really thought "2" followed naturally from "1," and anticipated "3" nicely. Ending with "4" was a controversial, but ultimately rewarding, choice.

I was expecting 3-1/2, myself. It would have been a natural lead-in to 4. I think he missed the boat on that one, personally. Someone shoud teach Scott about musical cadence.

Which album has the best silences between the songs?

Hmm?

Yes.
Another one I have a hard time stopping once it has begun.

For an EP Sugar's Beaster is pretty hard to beat. It flows really well, which is kind of suprising considering that it's made of of outtakes from the Copper Blue sessions (according to All Music, at least).

tough to argue with this one, but some others come to mind:
radiohead - kid a
explosions in the sky - the earth is not a cold dead place

i pretty much have to listen to both of those records in their entirety, without stopping.

really?

I've alwas thought that that would be much better sequenced if "Scentless Apprentice" started off that disc...

I mean, those drums = perfect opener, for me...

i hate to sound cliche by picking an obvious choice, but fuck, that album just gets me every time. and i never want to just listen to one song on that album, gotta listen to it by its entirety.

well
i think its a better song
but im kind of a fan of best song 2nd or 3rd
...
plus if you moved that to first it'd mess up
the transition between 2 & 3
domino effect all up in that shit

so what you do instead is
come home and put that shit on
while your taking a leak and grabbing a beer
and some baby carrots
or maybe you're into olives
and
then by the time you sit down
boom boom chee-boom....chee-bu bu bu bu chee-boom

Best album sequencing example I can think of in recent years is Z by My Morning Jacket.

1) I'd probably move "Servants" before Pennyroyal Tea, and leave the first half alone... That, or pre-"All Apologies". Looking at those song sequences individually, I'm realizing how jarring those transitions are...

2) Arguing that an album is perfectly sequenced because you can take a pee break during it (or, much less, at the beginning of it) is not a good sign...Part of sequencing an album is knowing when to leave songs off (ie: that last song on the Arcade Fire album almost seems like postscript or epilogue with the way that album is sequenced, making it stick out like a sore thumb)..

and 3) Lonesone crowded west? You're picking great albums but, as far as sequencing goes, the shark is being slightly jumped here...
