never saw 2 (no pun intended), because I heard it was awful

first one was decent.

I skipped the first one when it was in the theatres and watched it when it came out on DVD hoping it was really good. I wasn't impressed, but didn't hate it as much as the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. I just couldn't believe the dude lying on the floor could effectively control his little game the whole time while lying on the floor.
I wasn't about to waste my time on the 2nd and can't believe they made a 3rd, but I guess it can't be anyworse than making a sequel to The Grudge.
