Went to a Korean traditional drum/dance performance in an amphitheatre across the street yesterday- it was quite amazing. The place puts on free performances every week-end, and is not aimed at tourists- I was only one of 3 Anglos in the audience.

Jealous.

Madrid has a fairly strong rock scene; check out a show. I know I caught touring Euro bands at Caracol when I was there (granted, six years ago), and local bands at Siroco. Riviera hosts touring American acts (saw Beck, Fabulosos Cadillacs, Pennywise there; not all same bill (that would be too weird)).

According to Pollstar, I'm missing Springsteen & the Seeger Sessions Band by 4 days in Madrid. Dammit.
