I peruse this forum quite frequently to get laid by other guys (yes, I'm a fag) but I will never understand the posts where guys are looking for J/O partners. Are these guys latent homosexuals or is this a mainstream thing? What is this, a new gay middle ground?

Ugh, I totally get what you mean. Being a craigslist whore myself (NYC area), I'm not into the whole "let's jerk each other off but don't touch me anywhere else" thing. I'm all for straight guys giving gay sex a try, but do it with other bi-curious straight males. I'm so past giving straight men pity blow jobs too.

I've never understood the trolling-for-casual-sex personality.

I know other people enjoy this sort of thing, straight or gay, but before I met my wife, I preferred consummating with someone I already knew, at least somewhat, and was already attracted to.

The just-met-you/just-fucked-you thing, not for me.

Too much worry they'd turn out psychotic, maybe.

Or maybe I had too much of an Opie Cunningham personality back then.
