Learned quickly to stay away from that anything described as "beef". The hotel has a fine, upscale Chinese buffet (note- abalone porridge is gooooooood), but at $52 a shot, even I'm embarrassed to expense many of those. I suspect that caucasians are born with a life-time finite limit of chicken feet consumptiom- I've exceeded mine already.
Gar, yeh, I could probably go to Itaewon and find something "called" a hot dog, but if it followed the quality of a Jack Daniels steak I had in TGIFridays the other night, would fall in the "2 fingers down the throat" category
HAHA! I remember when they opened the KFC down there, and being frightened of it. I actually had Bulgogi, Chop Che and Kim Bop last week. Anywhere in the world there's a military base, you will find Korean restaurants. And I catually believe Alabama has one of the highest Korean populations in the state, what with Rucker and the Hyundai plant and all.
You get any "Leebok, Pibe Dolla!" deals down in Itaewon.
