man, i feel crazy out of synch. i saw them play a little while back and the whole show struck me as kind of schticky cabaret. And the singer specifically reminded me of those kids who hang outside the auditorium wearing tophats playing Magic the Gathering...

She's decent on album.... but MUCH better live. Boy howdy... saw her open for Sufjan, back when he was in his butterfly wings stage, and she was incredible.
