A write-up of and video from a live onstage brawl between Kurt Cobain and a bouncer at a Dallas club 15 years ago. It's pretty wild stuff...

that's good, cuz you won't be playing there again...it closed last year...there's been some other closures in Deep Ellum as well...that area is struggling

it's too bad, Trees was nice venue for it's size

This video shows me Cobain was a dick.

He was just drunk. Don't you know that intoxication means you aren't responsible for your actions or even if you are they are "funny" when you're wasted?

C'mon, Tom...you've had to have already known that for years. Pretty much any of these rock legends who are worshipped posthumously were assholes while alive. Cobain, Morrison, Gallagher...oh, wait (haha)

Ha! I guess I didn't pay enough attention to KC when he was alive. Oh well; just another shame, and a selfish death that I will care for barely at all. Fuck 'em!

Holy shit. That mixing board's gotta be worth at least a grand, and cobain smashes it in a tantrum?

Things is, had you paid attention, you would have come to believe that such action as taken in the video, above, was antithetic to Cobain. He was not a rock-star. He just wanted to play rock music. He was just like you & I. He wasn't Axl; he wasn't even Henry Rollins. He certainly wasn't Jimmy Page or Bill Wyman.

Seriously, I think this video was faked. That isn't Cobain up there. No way, no how.
