Good to know that Clinic are still providing performances here and there, but what caught my eye was the mention of Parts & Labor performing!!

Quote:
Clinic line up for all day festival
And it's for a good cause

Clinic and Spaceman 3 star Sonic Boom are to appear at a festival for the homeless next weekend.

The all-day event is entitled Audioscope 06, and is in aid of Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity. It takes place at Oxford Zodiac on October 28.

Other acts set to perform include Brooklyn's Parts & Labor, Piano Magic and Kids In Tracksuits.

The full lineup is as follows:

Clinic
Magnétophone & Sonic Boom
Parts & Labor
Piano Magic
I'm Being Good
Kids in Tracksuits
The Rock of Travolta
Trencher
Sunnyvale Noise Sub-element

Tickets for the event are priced at £9.

For more information on Audioscope 06 go to www.audioscope.co.uk

Way to go, Whiney!!

I downloaded the new Clinic album the other day. It was pretty much Winchester Cathedral Part 2.

actually it sounds more like their first album, so they're regressing.

I was gonna do a new thread on this, but did a search first, so I'll jump on this one. I agree man, I really dug their first album..It was a new sound, and was pretty original, and it was a good album. Winchester, while it was good, it was pretty much the same sound. Songs bleed into one another, and they don't sound that different from the one before. Now here comes the third jawn, and it's pretty much the same shit. It's like they recorded all 3 at the same session and just split them up to release at different times. While I like these dudes, lets maybe go in a little different direction next time.

They also have Walking With Thee, their 3rd album, which is pretty decent.
