She's still around. She has a nice beau who keeps her occupied these days. ;)

I'm happy for her. I still expect her to become an indie superstar and remember the ones who bought the first albums and told her she was hot and then make us all part of her posse and like we'd be on Zed playing vibraphones in the background and stuff.

Frostin' how's it going sir? :)

Funny you should ask... this is the first time in awhile that I've had a chance to stop by here.

I'm still around now and then.
I had my monitor konk out on me right before Christmas and only got a new one last week, so my visits to this fine place have been numbered.
I haven't been around computers as much as I used to... but might be getting a desk-ish job soon again. I'm also often quite distracted by a certain male inhabitant of this fair city, (wink-wink, nudge-nudge).

I'm still making music, only now it is long distance via the wonders of home sound cards, MP3 and phat gmail accounts. We're writing and recording some new tunes for our next album.

That's about it.
Working at a wicked little record shop.

How are things with you?

Heh heh.

See... Aural always knows what's goin' on... even before it's posted.
You guys rock. I miss not being here as often as I used to be.

I think of yah'll a lot at work--e.g. I'm soooo annoyed we don't yet have a play copy of Blue Nile so I can hear what Frostin's been raving about all this time. I'm absorbing so much new music at work, it's very enjoyable. It's really nice to be part of a little music-loving community. If any of you are ever in Toronto you should totally stop by. I actually saw Mr. 12XU there a couple of weeks ago.

I'm fine. Still waiting for my big break as "terrorist henchman playing cards in background as Jack stalks through the room". Someday it will happen.

No, she didn't meet Ish. She will have to come when it's springing outside.

Wait a second. Nobody meets Ish. Why does Ish meet no one? Hrmm. Forget it. This thread is about Polly. Polly stop enjoying life so much so you can hang out here with us in the doldrums. The best damn doldrums of ever, mind you.

Due to a huge miscommunication at work regarding a bonus I was to receive (it was paying for my trip), my plans had to be sadly cancelled. Needless to say, both J and I were disappointed. The airfare to Montreal is mega cheap right now (less than $200 R/T), but because of work (again), I can't go on any holiday trips until end of March. I still plan on going, just dunno when.

All Obnerians and former CMJ'ers are welcomed to visit me, though. :)

This has probably been taken care of already, but Polly posted this on the CMJ BB this AM :

Aural... or other smart people...
So I got a new computer today. I posted on the other board using my old computer earlier today and then went back later on using my new computer and found that I'm mysteriously unable to post there now.

I even tried the "I forgot my password" feature but have not received an email with my new password. I also tried signing up as a new user, but that hasn't worked either.

...H E L P

<--- slightly over-dramatizing the urgency

Just FYI.

In the event that Polly isn't back here before this thread sinks, I'll answer: yes, that's right.

Was Polly taken care of? Sorry, I've been completely swamped at work and haven't been able to do anything or forward this to Aaron.

Name the place and I'll drop by in a week and a half. I usually just go to the two-storey HMV and Penguin Music.
