A muslim stabbed a swan to death at a boating lake because he was so hungry from the Ramadan fast. Ravenous Shamsu Miah, 52, plunged a kitchen knife into the bird leaving it bleeding to death. Cops arrived to find him with feathers in his beard and blood on his face. Magistrates heard how he told officers "I was so hungry".

He is awaiting sentence.

Seriously, when The Sun prints stories like these about Muslims I'd be pretty sceptical about it's veracity.

I don't know - there are just as many insane and mentally disturbed Muslims as any other group... If something like this had happened in Des Moines nobody would question its veracity.

Good thing they clarified that it was a muslim.
