No, no never ever don't you even think it. In this day and age we have a magic thing called and ice maker for coldening the drink of our pleasure.

Answer is never buy 2 L bottles. By Individual 8 or 12oz cans, or glass. Ice or fridge as necessary.

If there is one thing that there is never enough of, it is refrigerator space. If there is one thing that is large and takes a lot of space, it is a 2 liter bottle of soda. It doesn't go bad left unrefrigerated, unlike milk, so leave that sucker out and utilize the ice when ready to consume!

Look, people, obviously cans are the first choice, but outside the context herein. When you run into Crazy Ahmed's Quick Stop for a quick fix, and 6 packs are $72.00 vs. 2 bucks for a 2 liter, marginally good judgment should result in a 2 liter going home with you, which results in the question here.

Come on now. GLASS BOTTLES of Coke (and preferably sugar-based Coke) should be your first choice.

Cans. pffffffftttt

I would say the fridge then only because it would not melt the ice to dilute the soda as fast when you do pour it into a glass later.

How come everything I'm seeing online about this now runs contrary to my own experience and what I'm sure I've read before?

Eh.

Why would you think they're fake? They don't taste fake.

Is this some kind of Montgomery, AL phenomenon?

Actually, it's the glass bottle and size that I prefer about it. I drink maybe one a month, so a two liter ain't coming in the house.

I've seen those. And I've seen the real deal too, but to get it in Madison we had to shop at the mexi-grocer joint. They taste a *little* bit better.

I thought the ones that they sell in Costco and Whole Foods, etc were outed as being fake, but it appears that Costco lost its source.

It doesn't taste much different, but like FU when I drink Coke (and its not McDonald's fountain hangover related Coke) I like the glass bottle. COLD glass bottle at that.

I think I've had about 10 this year total. SodaStream carbonated water FTW!
