I saw a Comedy show a few months ago at Bumbershoot. It was called Bring the Rock and it was hosted by some comedian I can't remember but the gist of the show was for him or other comedians to go up and talk about how rock music influenced them and tell other funny stories rock related.

After each little comedic bit a group of musicians would get up and play the songs the comedians talked about. I feel like I'm overexplaining this but fukit. ANYWAYS, Nina Gordon was the singer for the little band. There was also a guy from the Gigolo Ants and someone who wrote the Mr. Show theme song, if I remember right.

Ya, she sung Nobody's fool plus a medley of really crappy 70's and 80's hits like Time after Time and the like.

It was a funny show, that was sparsely attended because everyone else was at the Death Cab for Cutie show in the huge stadium. I was tired of getting pushed around by large chains of 15 yr. old girls trying to get past me so I left for the comedy.

and oh, yeah. She was sure cute up there.
