I don't care too much....I'm just a bit taken aback by the newfound "bling"-ness of the page. Plus the fact that it reminds me too much of ALLMusic now...

It seems to me the entire point of the new design is to incorporate larger, 'better' placed advertising.

My impression as well. Maybe there aren't technically more ads but it sure seems like it. I thought their last format was ugly but user-friendly. Initially I don't like the new look but maybe it'll grow on me.

I like it fine; it's actually easy on the eyes; for some reason the pulsing, annoying, adverts arent as annoying---they dont seem to contrast as bad.

Plus the little box in the upper left is easier to find than the old choices across the top.

No matter. In a month, even the most casual Pitchfork browser will be used to this and I doubt there will be much opining about "the good old days" "when, indie was INDIE, by golly" :::spits:::

I don't care about none of that shit.

But, is that Jessie Tuggle as your avatar?

It looks fine, but I don't really see it as a huge improvement visually. It doesn't seem any cleaner, and it looks just as cluttered. The headers don't really seem to stand out as much as they used to. I'm a little disappointed considering how they made such a big deal about it.

The pretentious long winded reviews remain.....now with a less distinctive layout! New Pitchfork in 2005! Catch the fever!

Don't like the layout because there is too much crap going on it makes it harder to see the content.

They posted a crap load of mp3's on Wed and Thurs. Anyone get them all and give them a shot? I don't feel like taking the time to get them all.

No its the man who will be crushing all your hopes and dreams Saturday night --- Keith Brooking.

Good luck bro, may the best man's team of highly trained animals win.

And I'd get started on that mixed disc.

It's ok... I'm sure it'll grow on me. Seems as user friendly as before.

However, I still hate what AMG did with their site. Talk about a cluster-fuck. I used that site as a resource for RIYL and general info. It was a dictionary, now its slow and not user friendly.

I like obner. A happy slap to whoever is responsible for this fine forum.
