This is probably the best weekend of football all year. Thoughts? Anybody having trouble stealing time from the family, girlfriend, etc to watch all four games? Thank god, my girl is out of town (in Chicago, hands off ladies and gents) so my only responsibility is my nieces birthday party Saturday afternoon. Other than that, I'm drunk and hunkered down.

Yail's Picks (ouright winners, no lines)

Atlanta
Steelers
Colts
Eagles

I agree with ole Yail's picks. Pagoda you're drinking the Kool-aid if you think Minnesota's pulling that one out.

As far as getting away from family, etc., the girlfriend is actually having some sort of girl's day/night out with a bunch of her friends. Something they do every year and it couldn't have come on a better weekend.

Definite trouble watching the games this weekend but I'm going to see 'The Producers' tomorrow night with the girlfriend so I'm looking forward to that. Sunday is her dad's birthday lunch though so I'll likely miss most of the early game. As long as I catch the Indy/NE game I'm happy. My Packers lost so interest in the playoffs has diminished.

I predict: Minnesota (just to spite me), Atlanta, Pitt, Pats. When I am watching however, I will be saying:

Go Eagles!
Go Falcons!
Go Jets!
Go Horse!

All I want this weekend is for the Eagles to come out so flat that they end up with less than 100 yards total offense. Then I want their locker room ceiling to collapse, and for Andy Reid's corpse not to be found for five days, after which it will have been chewed to near unrecognizability by rats.

It might take longer than 5 days. That's one big corpse.

It's playing in Indy right now at the Murat Theater. Should be really good. I don't get to the theater that often so I'm excited.

Pick against the Falcs and Pats at yr. own peril, kids. Steelers win, Eags win, as well. Payton continues his choke-a-thon against Belichek and a quaterback who knows how to win: Tom Brady.
