It's almost 2am and I have to get up in 3.5 hours to attend an early morning meeting with a client. Sorry to say, I need to make this fast.

The Melvins. A couple of guys dressed up like Uncle Fester -- who would think they can rock the shit outta anyone's house. And those drummers?! For chrissake, to drum for 1.5 hours as hard as they do -- how is it possible?! Unfuckin' real!

I was pushed, I was shoved, I was spit on, I felt my skirt sliding off several times (mental note: never wear a skirt to a Melvins gig). My neck is gonna be sore tomorrow from all the headbangin'. My ears are still ringing.

What a fantastic show! I'll be honest, I'm not familiar with their repertoire, but they had the kids bangin' and moshin'!! I'll try to post their set list tomorrow. It's time for sleep.

They destroyed me in '97. Somehow, I put myself back together for the Helmet set that followed.

I saw them at Starr Hill in Charlottesville in October. Fucking fantastic. I also got directions to the club from Buzzo himself. It was amazing.

their show in austin recently was fan-fucking-tastic, and sludgealicious - buzzo and dale were really nice, too, and seemed to genuinely appreciate talking with fans after the show. the two drummers? insane - dale and the new guy were awesome

Come on...

The Melvins are more than worth a "Brittney Spears Emerging from car" moment or two...

To tell you the truth, I don't know if my cellphone service allows calls to Canada. But, I'll definitely do that next time.

I think I saw them but I can't really remember if I did or not. I think it was part of that Fantomas/Melvins tour.
