i didn't see a thread about the new melvins album
but i know there was a gig thread
and there are some fans here

what do you fags think of this new record?

IMO the best melvins album since stoner witch
but looking at their ridiculous discography ...
i probably missed a couple

combining forces with big business was a great idea
some pretty intense beats

thoughts?

Haven't given this a good listen, which is silly since I love the Melvins.

if you havent seen the slow/dynamite shit, we're doing a project called '52 pieces about nothing' that basically entails us releasing one new piece of music every week for a year on our site + through an email blast we send out every monday. we're in something like week 10 right now. usually our friend aron taylor's artwork gets included with our email blasts, but i think a special guest appearance might be possible, of course with full credit given

you do? i use firefox at work & safari at home & both work fine for me
hmmm, we'll have to check into this

and yeh, aron's artwork is really, really good. these are just some cd covers he drew for us on brown paper, sort of off the cuff kinds of things
his bigger posters and some of his sketch book stuff are just amazing

i got it to work now

the quicktime plugin just wouldn't auto install
and i had to do it the old fashioned way

but i wouldn't be surprised if lots of people don't have that one -
if i was you i'd put a right click download option also

Actually DicksWillSuckYou should really give me props for my keen sense of taste.
This is actually a well-circulated internet image.
Our class was shown this image during a lecture by an eclectic professor. He met the guy on the bike. I believe we were told that this biker lost his license due to drunk driving;
So he bikes everywhere. All year round.
Apparently this includes biking to his hunting grounds.
The picture is most likely from the Wausau Daily Herald as the pictured individual is from Wausau, WI; and to my knowledge still lives there.

The deer's eye needs to be an 'x.' Otherwise, it just look as though it's hitching a ride.
