Just install Firefox and throw away the IE shortcuts from the desktop and tray. Better yet, after you do that copy the IE icon onto the Firefox shortcut (is this possible in Windows?).

I hear you. Only for me its called "my brother is too lazy to get off his behind and fix my computer" which is broken...again. It only lasted two months this time before failure.

i don't understand how someone who doesn't know anything about computers could tell the difference between the basic setup of IE and Firefox.

its not that he doesnt know anything, its that he knows just enough to get in trouble. so he knows just enough to tell the difference between the two browsers.

you should stick him with opera and really freak him out.
