Fuck it. You only live once. Just don't wipe your ass on her pillowcases, insist she use a strap-on dildo on you or anything else you'd rather not get back to the office.

If she seems to be a good catch, worthy of keeping around, you gotta go for it

if you're just looking for some tail, keep looking

I am currently unemployed because of this same situation. There's a reason people say not to do it.

I work with my girlfriend. I was really unsure about asking her out at first too but it's worked out. One thing that helped is that we didn't let anyone at work know we were dating until a year into the relationship. A bit extreme maybe but if things didn't work out, we would have been the only ones who knew.

A good friend met his wife at work.
They both quit the ageny they worked at and are now working together at a different agency. I would think it would be difficult living and working with someone, but they seem to enjoy it.

As far as just dating... you never know when you're gonna find that special someone, if she seems like a possibility for the long-term, go for it.

If you just wanna fuck her, I'd say take a pass. There are better places to find "just a lay" than work. Much better.

Dude, go ahead and hit it. IF she only works there two days a week then it obviously isn't that serious for her.

One of my bosses husband works here and those two bicker like fucking crazy. They make us all miserable some days.

Never date a co-worker unless you're sure one of you is leaving for a new job shortly.

Ten years ago I was managing a Pier 1 and developed a crush on one of my underlings, feeling was mutual, we had a few dates but it got back to MY boss and he put the kabosh on it. After that it was mucho awkward.

If you don't work for her and s/he doesn't work for you (note: if this isn't true, you have just become a huge liability for your company and could easily be fired) and you think it might be worth some (guaranteed) hassle (ie, if you just want to get laid, go elsewhere), ask whoever it is out. Live a little. It's just a job, right? Unless you have, like, the world's best job in the world ever, in which case you might not want to take chances. How much do you love your work? Does it love you back?

I don't think I'd ever let work get between me and a good shag.

Very bad idea. Oh yay, now you get to go to work and feel discomfort on a whole new level if you decide to not see each other.

Plus, I'm quite content keeping my work friends very separate from my other friends. If you don't mind co-mingling, then that's your deal.

Do it on the copier.

Edit: She must make a lot of money if she only needs to work 2 days a week. Either that or she's young. In either case, I say go for it.

I dunno. The cons outweigh the pros. A high risk, especially if this job is a career, and not some Empire Records.
