just saw this on the AP/Broadcast News wire:

MONTREAL - A Montreal-area woman who set her boyfriend's penis on fire in April 2001 will be spending her 44th birthday behind bars.
Police arrested Andree Rene last week after she failed to turn up for a recent court appearance for sentencing arguments.
Rene set the man's penis on fire as he slept after an argument.
The 52-year old man spent a month in hospital after suffering third-degree burns in the pelvic area and on his chest.
Rene was found guilty of aggravated assault last year.
She will remain in prison and is due back in court Jan. 8 for sentencing arguments, meaning she will be incarcerated on her Dec. 19 birthday.
