I put up the tree and the lights, and my girl was supposed to put up the ornaments. It's been a week now.

heh heh.

well T., if it makes you feel any better, we're not even setting up a tree or anything at our place. we'll be away in Montreal the whole time so it's not really worth it. would have been nice to have a little one or something.

put on some x-mas jams.

Tania, do you have any Christmas weed. It adds nicely to the decorations.

Yeah, why does the tree get some and not me?

And, ayah? That just made my night!

I have 3 more gifts to buy and I'm done. The mall was brutal tonight. You can tell if those sales people have to hear Sir Paul's "Wonderful Christmastime" one more time they're going to lose it.

I went with the internet this year mostly for shopping. Best move ever. I've only had to go to the mall twice.

Oh geez, tell me about it. Both my nephew and sister's response when I ask what they want for Christmas..."I dunno". You throw out suggestions..."I dunno" or "whatever". WORK WITH ME, PEOPLE!!

I have absolutely no clue as to what to get my boss. She's a minimalist when it comes to home, conservative when it comes to clothes. I'd love to give her a gift certificate for one of those massages for pregnant folks, but can't afford it (way too pricey in my part of the country). Of course when I ask her what she wants, she responds with, "Nothing, I don't need anything."

Why won't people cooperate?! :?

PS -- Ben, you can do my shopping for me.

you should do what my parents always did: you have to have your christmas list turned in by 6:00 pm Thnaksgiving night or risk getting potluck.

Also, for the first time in my LIFE, I won't be shopping on Christmas Eve; I literally have one more gift to buy and its a pop in, pop out deal. I've made two completely painless trips to Lenox (for the ATLiens), and not even freaked out on anybody.

I think that is why I have never owned one. I would procrastinate putting it up, and probably wait until around the Super Bowl to take it down.

Yeah, luckily I only had one gift I had to buy yesterday via the net. I still don't believe it will get to my mom's house in time, which will suck a lot for my brother.

You truly are a changed man, bro.

I have 2-3 things to get, but its all coming off the innernets or from a gas station between here and TX at this point.

As to the tree, just get a little Charlie Brown tree and you'll have the Holiday Spirit in your home with minimal decorating time.

Or buy a huge ass tree like I did ($24.90 at Home Depot) and let it sit naked in my living room for a week.

Believe it or not, Charlie Brown Christmas trees have become scarce cuz everyone wants one!

What is it with 17 year olds not knowing what they want? I've been texting back and forth with my cousin trying to figure out what the hell she wants and she can't come up with anything. I bought her an Arcade Fire a couple of years ago and she never mentioned it again. Maybe this year I'll get her a Xiu Xiu cd.
