Something about Placebo have always annoyed me, none more so than on the new record. I find the dude to be one of the most boring singers around. Not sure why, but every time I hear a Placebo of newer vintage I think "oh God, just shut up already."

Yeah, I have to agree with you here. Except for a song or two, the album is kind of subpar as compared to their previous work.
