all i'll say is one is a chicago-based board and the other's a pittsburgh-based board. people familiar with those towns should know which ones.

ILM aka ILX (off-line at the moment with sandbox filling in temporarily) but it’s defiantly not for everyone. It’s full off music critics so you have to know what you are talking about otherwise you could be called out on it. What I love about it is that you can be totally geek-y about your music and they won’t attack you like so many other music boards will. It’s so big that you can get passionate about some off group, like I did with Moose and have people come out of the woodworks to also proclaim their love for that band.

Some band sites as well like the Radiohead one (which is huge), Super Furry Animals, and bravecaptain’s.
