This is another album deserving of it's own thread. Loneliness and the Scream, Skip the Youth, Things are all so freaking good. Probably better than The Midnight Organ Fight which was my favorite of that year.

I really want to like this band more.

I saw a music video once that featured the line "Jesus is just a Spanish boy's name / how come one man got so much fame?" or something along those lines and I'll never forget how cringeworthy that line is for the rest of my life. I wouldn't like this band anyway, but that memory puts them up with the worst of the worst for me.

"Swim Until You Can't See Land" is solid too
