And the cool air on your face feels weird. I've got my thick winter growth right now.
Question: how does one soften beard hair? Mine is coarse as hell.

Anthony for Men makes a lot of products for beards and shaving. I spoke at length with one of their salesguys at Nordstrom about a month ago and discovered that there are products for every step of shaving and keeping a beard going.

anthony.com, i think.

i started growing in when i quit my job in august and, save a slight hiccup in its growth for my niece's christening, i had had it ever since--at least until last night.

trust me, the beard wasn't pretty. it was ok in the "goatee" region but thin on the sides. even still, shaving it was more of a "employment calls" decision than anything else. as a friend told me: "the last reason you want for not getting a job is because you have a skeevy beard or hair that's too long". that shit can grow back, but i'm being pretty selective in the types of jobs i'm going for so i don't want to take any chances. haircut is coming in the new year. i'll take before and after pics if anyone is interested.
