Mike Tyson In DUI, Cocaine Bust
Ex-heavyweight champ nabbed outside Scottsdale, Arizona nightclub
DECEMBER 29--Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was arrested early this morning on drunk driving and cocaine possession charges following a police stop outside an Arizona nightclub. Tyson, 40, was pulled over when his BMW nearly struck a sheriff's cruiser after he left a Scottsdale bar around 1:45 AM. When he failed field sobriety tests, the pugilist was arrested for driving under the influence. A subsequent search turned up two small bag of cocaine in Tyson's pocket and another bag in his car. He was booked into the Maricopa County Sheriff's lockup, where the below mug shots were snapped. This is the second time Tyson has been arrested in Scottsdale. In December 2004, he was charged with misdemeanor criminal damage for jumping on the hood of a stranger's car outside a bar. An inebriated Tyson was screaming at the auto's driver while perched (on his hands and knees) on the vehicle's hood. (1 page)
