Can you download full albums or is it just songs?

i've got the 40 downloads/month plan. You can get whole albums or songs, but if an album is 10 tracks, that's 10 of my 40 downloads.

I've had no problems, site is awesome.

yeah, that's all i do. the problem is when i download a few albums and i'm left with a few tracks left over, i'll either get an old school jazz album, or get part of an album i do want, and get the rest of it the following month, and THEN listen to it. But the downloads don't rollover from month to month which is kind of a drag.

I've been doing the 40 downloads for $9.99 a month thing. It's been worth it.

Emusic is great. I get 90 downloads for 19.99 a month. The selection is pretty good. I use it to buy the old stuff I missed out on. I wish I was a member when they offered unlimited downloads with your monthly subscription but what I have now works out to about 6 or 7 whole albums a month. And for 19.99 that's not too shabby.

I think their prices have gone up.

$9.99 for 30 downloads
$19.99 for 75 downloads

I think the prices just went up a month ago or so. Current subscribers had a chance to lock in the old prices of 90 downloads for $19.99. The booster packs for extra downloads went up as well. Still a better value than the i-tunes store.

They had a year plan which was 20 percent off the monthly rate. I found a 'get 100 free banner' joined and bought the year plan. It ended up being like $190 for 100 free d/l and 90 a month (like 1200 tracks)

a great deal.

I've signed up for the 75 free downloads with four different credit cards, but nothing beyond that. 300 free songs ain't bad.

You should do this. I cannot tell you how many albums I probably would've let fall by the wayside, that because of emusic I took a chance on and loved.

I like eMusic for their wide selection, recommendation lists, bulletin board, and easy to sample songs/albums format.
