I don't think I would have ever posted on a site like this if I had not already known a band like Fugazi, that said everyone who hasn't heard them definitely needs to give them a proper listen.

Liked Minor Threat...was never able to get too into Fugazi. Too herky jerky.

Seeing "Reclamation" performed live circa '93 or so was one of the best 'holy fuck, this is un-fucking-real' concert moments of my life.

You should listen to The Argument. Not very "herky-jerky" at all.

Although I don't really think most of their stuff is, so maybe I don't really know what you mean.

i'm a 15 year old girl when it comes to fugazi, i like "waiting room" and get kind of bored by all the rest. (though i haven't given them a shot since the one with the Washington Monument on the cover)

One of my favorite bands. Eventually I'll get the money and time to order the 30 live cds that they offer. Instrument is a worthwhile sitdown fo' sho.

me too. I don't know what I'd do if I lived far away. Living across the street from work has its perks, though in inclimate weather you don't have any excuse for not coming in.

I can only imagine. That songs makes my skin tingle, my palms sweat and sends my energy through the roof. It has been one of my favorite songs since the first time I heard it in 1991. The combination of the up-tempo guitar and groovy-ass bassline is one of the coolest fucking sounds ever put to tape. Damn this is making me want to pull out Steady Diet.

Changing time and rythms within the same song too much for my tastes. I like my punk more straight forward.

I'm vaguely aware that there was something called math rock...or still is..not sure.

Personally,I don't feel that math and rock belong in the same sentence.

I will also come out firmly opposed to any future developments in physics rock, trig rock and even earth sciences rock.
