Yeah, I'll be "that guy". I understand how easy it is to destroy these guys now. After absolutely loving their first three albums, I only listened to their last one ONE time. Horrible. So, try and have an open mind and tell us what you think of this new song from their album to be released in September.

Probably helped by the fact that I'm a few beers deep on a Friday night, but I liked it. But it was a minute too long.

Beating the living fuck out of 8 bars of a standard progression for three and half minutes.
Taking a cue from Wilco on how to take a shit while standing up in half the time.

My first thought was it sounds like the Walkmen, then the National, then Franz Ferdinand, then the Strokes, then I gave up. The wonders of a 30 second clip.

I expected a LOT worse. So, not terrible.

Like Jerkass said though, very repetitive.
