continuing with the trend set by their last album, half the tracks are awesome, and the other half suck ass.

the one with tim burgess (of the charlatans) is my favorite.

It was Dalen's record of the week last week. Rolling Stone gave it a good review. That's all I've heard.

I'm excited about it. What I've heard on KEXP is decent. I could go for some more Hope Sandoval vocals.

I was listeningto Surrender today. For my money, better than Dig Your Own Hole.

don't be scared off by the terrible opening track "galvanize", this album has some damn fine moments. the chems always have sick fx. also a slightly more commercial album IMO.

oh, and listen to it very loud.

You must have missed the time they played the Shrine when the Hardkiss Bros opened up. I almost walked out.

For me the Chemical Brothers are very much a 1990's concept, i.e - when indie kids knew nothing of techno and electronic music.

I have 3 Chemical Brothers albums in the collection already and I doubt I'll be buying this one unless it gets really great reviews.

Sandoval is a guest vocalist on this album or was she in the past?

Can't remember if she was.

"marvo ging" should have shaun ryder on it -- totally sounds like a long lost happy mondays tune.

and is it just me, or does the last track sound like it is just an instrumental version of "the golden path"?

Come With Us was fantastic and I hope they produce the same level of quality with Push the Button. I'm surprised that I haven't heard the single yet though.

I really like Galvanize, so I assume I'll enjoy this record from start to finish just like their last one.

I like this veddy much. Reminds of certain days of the late nineties when a little thing called 'e' was in vogue.

I like Galvanize as well. I listened to the album 10-15 times straight this weekend while playing my 2nd and 3rd season of NCAA 2K5 Legacy Mode. I like the album. I'm not blown away but i don't notice any duds either.
