Virgin's going in the tank and merging w/ Capitol. Her department was axed to bring up sagging finances.
She's prolly moving to NYC.

actually it's the other way around... although it's going to be "capitol music group," virgin ceo's are taking over. more layoffs at capitol are happening this week... at least 40 people in the tower have been laid off so far. it's about $220 million total in layoffs. they're cleaning house basically so the stock will go up and they're going to sell emi. i'm still technically employed until mar. 26th but my last days at emi will be within the next week or 2. it's been discussed here and here

t, i had briefly mentioned this to you last weekend because i knew it was coming and i told myself that if all this happens before march 1st (because i have to move out of my apt by then as well) then i might considering moving out of la. i'll have a definite decision by friday. i'm working my contacts in ny as well as at work to see if i can get some prospects and looking around at apts. anyway, more then i cared to share publically but what the hell.
