Point taken, yet I can't help but sing along with the chorus when I occasionally hear this on the radio.

Good choices, but you have intentionally used one song THREE TIMES.

Penalty. Repeat listings. Ten yards.

I maintain that this song has at least some redeeming melodic qualities...yet 20 years after its release is still used as a poignant example for continuing disharmony between whites and african-americans.

I'm going to have to give this some serious thought. A list like this is not to be taken lightly.

Is this considered a song? I thought it was just a retard bandwagon anthem.

Imagine being in radio, & having to play this thing 3 times in 5 hours.

You'd be amazed at how low you can turn the studio monitor speakers down & still know what's going on.

couldn't you just set the player to countdown backwards and mute it entirely?

I'm not very good at keeping track of these things, but a while back, either here or on CMJ, someone listed the following as the two worst songs ever:

1. Santana w/ Rob Thomas - "Smooth"
2. Lenny Kravitz - "Fly Away"

I totally stand by these.

Also, who does that recent shitty song where they go "You've had a bad day"? That's a strong contender for the top 10.

Also, the Friends theme song.
