i just saw a commercial that featured "everybodys happy nowadays" by the buzzcocks. it was for the aarp. this is worse than using "lust for life" to sell mutual funds.

by the way - i do not condone rape.

There's some instrumental version of Violent Femmes' Blister In The Sun out there. A pizza ad? Or chips? I can't remember.

I actually ended up meeting Steve Garvey of the buzzcocks about 3 months ago. It was pretty cool.

Bottom line: Buzzcocks are geezers. It's apropo. But when I saw them 10 years ago, they still rocked harder than most bands half their age.

I think the AARP thing is funny.

And it's a Wendy's ad for a triple cheeseburger. Not that I was paying attention, or anything...

I thought Lust for Life was for a cruise line... "get out there" the hook line spoken by a raspy lesbian outdoorsy voice
