What was the way to fix broken BB code in signatures? I thought it was to toggle the BB Code and HTML buttons on and off in my profile, but that didn't work. How does this get fixed again???

In your profile, next to "Always allow BBCode", click the opposite of what you have now. If that doesn't work, switch it back. It sounds odd, but I think Haq recommended that once, and it worked for me some time ago.

It's just a toggle from one thing (save changes) to the other (save changes) and then *poof* quote worky.

Same here. Tried a number of different settings (allow BB Code, allow sigs, etc.) and no success.

Why does chase have to be so damn sensible, though?

And the REALLY weird thing is that the BB code for URLs DOES work in my sig, only the QUOTE BB code doesn't. WTF?

Actually it only works when I don't reference a name. Quotes with ID are teh suck.
