I'm trying to find the right song to go with a montage. Its a corporate video of people finding other ways to pass the time since they just completed a huge project, and its kind of a bittersweet ending.

my first thought was "missing you" by john waite. it doesnt quite work though.

so songs about loss, feeling down, but that still have some punch. i dont want it to be a total downer.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Agree about Free Bird.

What was the Carpenters song that goes "don't you remember you told me to call you baby"?

?

"Happy Trails" - Roy Rogers

And how is "The End" the slightest bit bittersweet? A psychotic rant about murdering your family?

Well, you see... there is this thing called ignorance.
When one hates a song too much to really listen to it, and yet feels compelled to open his stupid mouth about something which he has no right to speak of.

Ignorance, my friend. (But I really suspected it was not really an appropriate song. But then, in following a precedent set by a song about kicking The Junk ued for promoting a cruise line...)

The first half of "The End" would work. The second part wouldn't.
